Picnik
I was checking out Twitter this morning when I seen my friend Torley tweet about the photo editing website Picnik. Torley also produced a how-to video and he used the a FireFox plug-in for Picnik to get a capture of the website and import it straight into Picnik in seconds. Once I got the plug-in for firefox I went ahead and followed his video tutorial and I produced this image on the left.
I found Picnik a very easy to use and it taken no time in all to produce my little sketch of my website. Picnik also uses the Flickr API to save and edit the photos on your Flickr stream. It is also possible to save your final images to your myspace, facecook, photo bucket account.
I give Picnik 3 stars!

Second Life Simulator Bestia is Suspended
Second Life simulator Bestia the home of the teen furry group FurNation TG is down once again. This time Linden Lab have apparently permantly suspended the simulator. Previously Malifico Bade used fake identity to gain access to the main grid transferring the sim Bestia with him. Linden Lab then banned him unless he submited real govermental ID and he would be moved to the appropriate grid. After Malifico submited real givermental ID to Linden Lab they re activated his account and transfered him back to the teen grid with the sim Bestia.
Only time will tell if FurNation get Bestia back.
[Update]Apprently Malifico submited a support ticket to Linden Lab to cancel the simulator and forgot to close the ticket when he changed his mind to return back to the teen grid with Bestia.

BBC have plans to put there entire program archive online. They will probably be able to view and download the programs using the BBC’s existing service BBC iPlayer. BBC iPlayer allows people in the UK to watch some (maybe all) of the programs that where on the BBC Television channels in the last 7 days as well as listen to the BBC Radio stations. Animoto
Today I produced a video on Animoto for Eye4You Alliance to be displayed in the PLCMC on the big screens.
The video took around 30 minutes to produce and it was very easy to make. Anomoto offer two video types a short video (around 15-20 images) for free and a long video for $3 (20+ images) Because I have a lot of images to go in it I decided to make a long one and pay the 3 bucks. I logged into my Animoto account and created a new video. When told animoto to import my images from my Eye4You Alliance Flickr set so it taken around 5 minutes to load them all. Once I was happy with my images I could go ahead and select some royalty free music from the Animoto music library or I could upload a .mp3. I decided to choose All Mine by Sarah Vonderhaar. Then I had to save the video and give it a title so I done that and that taken around 2 minutes to do. I then had to go and make a cup of tea and eat my lunch while it rendered (If you where watching my live feed earlyer on you would off seen me eat my lunch) The rendering took around 15 minutes to complete but it wasn’t too bad. Because my video is being used for the DVD I wanted it to be very high quality so I had to pay Animoto for there DVD Service. The DVD Service includes a high quality .mp4 file and one ready to burn ISO file and this cost $5. This takes around 30 minutes for it to render the high quality video but I had some work to do so I done that while it done that but it is well worth it! In total my 3 or 4 minute video cost $8 so that’s not bad at all! You can view the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ro0ZC9fxWDc
I give Animoto 4 stars!
