Today I had chance to take a quick look at the free video streaming service Mogulus.com. Like uStream.tv Mogulus allowed people to setup live video streams. I found setting up a live stream on Mogulus is much more complected and time consuming than uStream.tv but Mogulus has much better features.

Unlike uStream.tv there is no need to use third party software like WebcamMax or CamTwist too name tags and scrolling text as it is all built into the service. Mogulus also has auto pilot so when you are offline your viewers can watch recorded videos, podcasts, youtube videos. This is brilliant for those wanting to setup a TV network and only want to broadcast recorded shows. Saying that uStream also offers this but sadly you can only stream recorded shows that where recorded on uStream.tv so its not very good for those who are wanting to stream podcasts ect.

I think I’m still going to stream with uStream.tv and hopefully, uStram.tv will add some groovy new features!

I give Mogulus 4 stars!

When the new iPhone comes out on July 11th some carriers will take back the old iPhone and give you a brand new one for free. Some carriers like 02 will allow you to buy the new iPhone but you need to sign a new 18 month contract and they will cancel the old one free of charge. The iPhone is also avalabe on Pay as You Go with 02 but the price for that is unspecified.

Today I joined Cali Lewis on her uStream.tv stream to watch Apple’s founder Steve Jobs’ present at the World Wide Developers Confrance 2008.

Steve Jobs’ announced Apple’s new web service Mobile Me The service runs on Windows, Mac, iPhone and iPod Touch. Mobile Me is the new version of .Mac and it allows you to upload all your files online and retrieve them on any device. So if I add a new event in iCal it will show up on my PC and iPod Touch within seconds. The service costs $99 per year and allows you to store up to 20GB worth of files. You can also get a 60 day trial.

Steve also announced the second version of the iPhone which will be coming July 11th. The iPhone allows you to download applications onto your phone they will also appear in the iTunes store. The iPhone also has a scientific calculator and a update maps with GPS, and last but not least a fast 3G connection what we’ve all be waiting for! Apparently some of the current owners of the old iPhone will be able to trade it in and get the new version for free of charge.

Today I downlaoded the brand new WordPress theme Wicket Pixie. Wicket Pixi was made by Chris Pirillo and his team. You can download the theme from his blog.

Today I uploaded some more of my photos that I’ve took over the last week. I have also added iStorm.tv blog to my Flickr account so I can blog on flickr wich seems to be saving me alot of time Most of the photos I uploaded to day where about the DIDI Workshop wich I attended on the 31st March to help teens creating there venture. I thurley enjoyed the event and I cant wait to help out at the future events.

Somtime this week I’m going to buy a tree and watch it grow! You can give it ago too for only $5.50. This is what it your $5.50 donation will go towards, buy a tree, lifelong care and feeding, scientific study of the forest that it becomes a part of, and the exact coordinates of where that tree is on our big beautiful Earth. Linking that data with Google Earth shows the precise location (on the island of Borneo) of the tree, as well as all of its hundreds of neighbors.

As some of you folks may know I poped in to the Three store in Stockton last Saturaday to send my phone in for it to be fixed, yes that’s right for the 5th time. Anyway, today I called the store up to see if my phone has been fixed and when I could come and collect it. I also recived a email from a 3 Group Employee apologising for the problems I’ve had with my phone and they are going to send me a brand new one. I hope this one they sent me is going to work till I can afford a iPhone
